crafted of creamy white marble from a local quarry. An overstuffed
armchair and sofa, upholstered in beige ticking fabric, have
been placed to make the most of its warmth. The focal point
of the room is an enchanting hand-painted mural of the Hudson
River Valley, to which an entire wall has been devoted.
The charming bedroom with its king-size bed
also has a warm and welcoming fireplace. A private outdoor
patio, with scenic views of the meadows that are so much a
part of the beautiful Berkshires landscape, may be reached
from either the bedroom or sitting room. The large bathroom
has twin sinks, a whirlpool tub for long, luxurious baths
and a separate walk-in shower. While the Riverview shares
its entryway with the Old Bath House cottage, it is completely
private in every other respect.
